Field day in Austria

SMS CZ took major part at field show in Austria on Wednesday 15.8. near village Reinprechtspölla. More than three hundred people attended this event, although it was very hot weather and national holiday that day. Four machines from SMS CZ porfolio were prepared for field work exhibition.

Viewers admired precisious work done by both SMS stubble cultivators, share cultivator ARRAS 300 with three rows of shares as well as carried disc harrow ONTARIO 400 with hydraulically foldable wings. The roller TERAN N 300 equipped with sawing unit took audience attention too. The machine is usually used for grass land of meadows restoration, but it made a great job in a field application as it was shown in Austria.

The audience paid the biggest attention to the subsoiler TALON 300 mounted with six tines hydraulically protected with double wavy cutting roller which is suitable for work in stubble field. Farmers in Austria struggle this season with minimal rainfall and low soil moisture. Improvement of soil retention, aeration and overall soil remediation can be very well achieved with subsoiling cultivator from SMS CZ.
