Premiere of the new generation of the FINISHER at the Den Zemědělce
From 13 September to 14 September, the agricultural exhibition Den Zemědělce will take place at the airfield near the village of Kámen u Pelhřimova. At the traditional event, SMS CZ will present a total of seven machines, with the premiere of the new generation of the FINISHER combined cultivator. Also on display will be the new TALON GREEN, subsoiler for meadows and pastures introduced a few days ago in České Budějovice.
"It was our goal to introduce product innovations before the start of autumn work in the fields and meadows, and we succeeded. After the TALON GREEN, a completely new model series of subsoiler designed for meadows and pastures, the innovative combined cultivator FINISHER will have its premiere in the village of Kamen, you are all cordially invited to our stand," says Petr Jirsa, managing director of SMS CZ s.r.o. and adds "The list of product innovations does not end here, we have also extended the offer of SMART seed drills with the SMART 250 model with a working width of 2.5 m. The machine is designed for smaller areas, vineyards and farmers working with tractors of lower power."
Seven machines will be on display at the Den Zemědělce exhibition, including two new additions.
TALON GREEN is a new model of subsoiler designed for deep cultivation and aeration of permanent grassland without disturbing the vegetation and mixing the soil structure and pulling stones to the surface. The machine's mechanically adjustable cutter cuts the top layer of the crop, opening up the surface for smooth passage of the straw, up to a depth of 35 cm. The machine has a working width of 3 m and is available in two models, TALON GREEN 300/3 and TALON GREEN 300/4.
Another novelty is the innovative FINISHER combined cultivator. The machine is used in first post-harvest soil processing or in minimization technologies where an increased proportion of crop residues is expected. In the new generation of the machine, the original peelers with double-wound springs have been replaced by a new type with hydropneumatic locking, thus deepening the working depth of the machine to 35 cm. The new design is also characterised by the extension of the spacing of the working sections, which reduces the risk of the machine becoming clogged with plant residues. Two models are again available, the FINISHER 300 and FINISHER 400, the latter consisting of two working frames hydraulically folded perpendicular to the machine axis.
The popular SMART 300 seed drill, LANIO 600 tined weeder, TERAN 1020 cambridge roller, SEVERIT 500 compactor and GOLEM 540 grassland roller will also be on display at the event.

The product offer of SMS CZ has been expanded from summer 2024 by a completely new category of machines, namely ploughs. With the INFINITE model series, the producer enters a new ploughing segment with a range of four models.
SMS CZ launches the new TITAN SIMPLE 630 cambridge roller. It has also expanded its range of SEVERIT compactors with the SEVERIT G model with a working width of 12 m and the TALON MEDIUM range of deep subsoilers has been extended to include machines with a working width of 4 and 5 m.
