SMS CZ machines on display at the German Karpfhammer fest & rottalschau

SMS CZ will be presenting itself at the Rottalschau exhibition, which is part of the Karpfhammer Fest, from 1 September to 5 September. The traditional Bavarian exhibition will feature the SMART 300 seed drill and TERAN 300 N cambridge rollers at stand 3711.

"The Rottalschau is significant in its scope, with farmers from Bavaria and Germany as well as Austria taking part. In addition, the agricultural structure of these areas, i.e. hilly terrain with smaller acreages, is just right for offering our machines with smaller footprints, such as the featured SMART 300 and TERAN 300 N. We are therefore delighted that in cooperation with our business partner MEZGER Landtechnik GmbH & Co. KG, we can participate in the event," says Petr Jirsa, Managing Director of SMS CZ s.r.o.

On booth 3711, among other things, the SMART 300 seed drill will be presented, which is suitable for establishing and reseeding grassland as well as common field crops. With a working width of 3 m, it is suitable for small and medium areas. It is robust and suitable for difficult conditions and stony soils. Sowing is carried out via narrow grooves spaced 12.5 cm apart. This solution does not damage the grass sward and is very effective in difficult terrain with many stones. The machine can be equipped with a wide range of APV seeding accessories, with which SMS CZ has a long-standing partnership. The popular cambridge roller category will be represented at the exhibition by the TERAN  300 N with a working width of 3 m. It is a load-bearing roller consisting of a one-piece frame of robust construction. The machine is characterized by a wide range of accessories, it can be equipped with a levelling bar-rigid or a levelling bar-springly with an aggressive blade in combination with double row bar gates for combing plant residues. The machine is most often equipped with the Z500/550 Prismen rings, which are used especially in meadows and help to aerate the grassland. Also available are the classic C510/530 cambridge ringen, which are used in field conditions for pre-sowing preparation. The machine can also be fitted with a seeding unit with convenient control from the machine cab. At the Rottalschau in Bavaria, an APV seeding attachment will be on display on the TERAN 300 N.
