SMS CZ machines are presented to the French public at the Terres en fête exhibition. There are six machines on display - from a disc cultivator, to a roller for the front linkage of a tractor, to the Arras coulter cultivator developed specifically for the needs of farmers in northern France and named after the town of the same name.
"SMS CZ machines have been helping French farmers with land preparation and processing for 15 years, during which time we have built up a stable position, especially in northern France. We are therefore pleased that our brand can be presented to the professional and general public at Terres en fête on the joint stand of our business partners Fumery Piéces and Duquene Agricole," says Petr Jirsa, Managing Director of SMS CZ, s.r.o.
And where can the public look forward to? The Atos 500 P, a semi-submersible coulter cultivator that is used for both pre-sowing preparation and post-harvest tillage. It is a versatile machine with three rows of coulters and an axial spacing of 30 cm. Depending on the type of coulters used and the machine setting, the soil can be processed to a depth of 5-30 cm.
The Arras 470 H, which is equipped with three rows of coulters with an axial spacing of 22.5 cm, will also be on display. The Arras cultivator can be used for pre-sowing preparation, deeper cultivation up to 20 cm and shallow post-harvest tillage. The machine was developed for the needs of northern French farmers and named after the town of the same name.
Rollers will also be on display, specifically the Teran N 300 for the tractor's rear three-point linkage and the Teran 300 F DDI for the tractor's front linkage. These are load-bearing versions of the rollers with a working width of 3 m, which stand out for their versatility and easy manoeuvrability. They are suitable for both permanent grassland maintenance and field applications. The machines are also suitable for less powerful tractors or sloping land.
The public can also look forward to the hydraulically folded, carrier disc cultivator Ontario 400 H. With a working width of 4 m and a working depth of up to 12 cm, it is suitable for shallow cultivation, pre-sowing preparation or maintenance of permanent grassland.
Not forgetting the Severit 300 pre-sowing compactor. Thanks to the combination of different types of working bodies, this machine is able to level the land, break up clods and precisely prepare the seedbed in one pass.
With an attendance of 70,000 people and more than 450 exhibitors, Terres en fête is a major agricultural event, especially for the area north of Paris. Those who missed the June event do not have to regret it, as the brand will be present at the SIMA international trade fair in Paris this November.
