Tined weeder Lanio 600 on display for the first time in the Netherlands
The Lanio 600 tined weeder with a working width of 6 m will be presented to the Dutch public at the largest outdoor exhibition Agrotechniek Holland in mid-September. The versatile and popular machine is used for lawn maintenance and field work. The Teran roller and Talon deep subsoiler will be on display alongside the tined weeder.
SMS CZ, a Czech manufacturer of tillage equipment, has been operating in the Netherlands for over 15 years and has built a stable position in the region. Local farmers particularly appreciate the Teran rollers and Talon subsoilers in various working widths.
"That is why we decided to participate in the popular Agrotechniek Holland for the fourth time in cooperation with our business partner, Van Meer Trading. We will be presenting a total of 5 machines at stand 1.09. Interestingly, there will be a local premiere of Lanio 600 tined weeder, which we are convinced that its universal application can be helpful to local farmers," says Petr Jirsa, Managing Director of SMS CZ s.r.o.
The Lanio 600 tined weeder with a working width of 6 m is characterised by its excellent ground following thanks to the swinging frame system and support wheels. The main working elements are the fingers, which are arranged in six rows with a spacing of 25 cm between each finger. The flexible fingers break up the surface and bring air to the roots, while preventing water from escaping from the soil by breaking the capillarity. However, the essential function of the tined weeder is the destruction of weeds, which are pulled from the soil to the surface where they dry out. The finger aggressiveness can be adjusted and the fingers themselves are available in 6, 7 or 8 mm diameters. On request, the machine can be fitted with a straightening rake or seed drill. The light weight of the Lanio allows it to be combined with small tractors. The tined weeder can also be used in the front hitch of a towing machine.
Together with the tined weeder, Teran roller will be on display, specifically the Teran N 300 and the front-mounted version Teran F 200. With a working width of 3 m, the Teran N 300 rollers are used for field work and maintenance of meadows and pastures. They are appreciated for their good manoeuvrability and the fact that they can be aggregated with less powerful tractors or used on sloping terrain. The Teran N 300 can be equipped with a wide range of accessories, including various types of rollers up to 610 mm diameter. The front-mounted version of the Teran F 200 roller breaks up the soil in front of the tractor, allowing further soil preparation to be carried out at higher working speeds. The machine has a swinging work frame for better ground following and can be equipped with a flexible skid or double row tine section.
The last category of machines to be presented to the Dutch public are the Talon Classic 400/8 H and Talon Kombi 300/6 deep cultivators. The Talon Classic 400/8 H version has a hydraulically folded frame and features 8 shear bolt securing tines and a working depth of up to 45 cm (at the customer's request, the machine on display is equipped with 6 tines), which is adjustable using support wheels. The working width of the machine is 4 m. The Talon Kombi 300/6 has a working width of 3 m and six tines. Machine is fitted with hydraulic arms, suitable for mounting rotary harrows or seed drills.
Agrotechniek Holland takes place from 14 September to 17 September in Biddinghuizen, the Netherlands. 500 brands participate in the country's largest outdoor exhibition and the event is attended by an average of 50,000 people.
