Czech Technology by SMS CZ Makes Its Debut at Norway’s Agroteknikk Exhibition

Czech agricultural machinery producer SMS CZ will display its products for the first time at the prestigious Agroteknikk exhibition in Norway. The event will take place from November 14 to 17, 2024, in Lillestrøm, near Oslo. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore five SMS CZ machines featuring advanced solutions for soil cultivation and seeding at the stand of SMS CZ's Norwegian partner, Aase Landbrug.

Both industry professionals and the general public can look forward to the FINISHER 300 combined cultivator, the TALON CLASSIC 300/6 deep subsoiler, the TERAN 700 cambridge roller, the SUPERIOR 500 disc cultivator, and the SMART 300 seed drill.

The FINISHER 300 is a versatile tool for shallow to mid-depth soil cultivation. This machine combines multiple operations in one pass. The front disc section handles shallow tillage and crop residue cutting, followed by a section with three rows of tines for deep soil processing up to 35 cm. It finishes with a leveling section and a roller for optimal soil preparation, ideal for both post-harvest tillage and minimal tillage techniques with high residue.

Representing the subsoiler category, the TALON CLASSIC 300/6 with a 3 m working width features angled tines that loosen soil up to 45 cm deep. It is designed to break up compacted soil layers, enhancing water infiltration and root growth. With adjustable tine options, it performs effectively even on heavy soils.

The TERAN 700 cambridge roller, with a 600 mm drum diameter, is engineered for efficient soil consolidation, clod breaking, and surface leveling. Ideal for maintaining pastures and grasslands as well as pre-seeding field preparation, its 7 m working width ensures high productivity on larger areas. The machine features the TitanLoc system developed by SMS CZ, which provides axial clamping of cast iron discs on the shaft for added durability and extended service life.

The SUPERIOR 500 disc cultivator, with a 5 m working width, is equipped with two frames that fold hydraulically for transport. It offers effective shallow tillage up to 18 cm at speeds of up to 16 km/h. Featuring two rows of 610 mm discs and a roller, this robust cultivator aerates soil and speeds up the breakdown of organic matter.

The SMART 300 seed drill is a versatile machine for seeding field crops and grassland overseeding. Utilizing a slot seeding system, it cuts a narrow slit in the soil, deposits seeds, and compacts the soil back for optimal germination. With a 3 m working width, it is ideal for small to medium fields. Its robust construction makes it suitable for challenging conditions and rocky soils, and it can be equipped with a variety of seeding accessories.
