SMS CZ's Premiere in Switzerland
SMS CZ, a renowned Czech manufacturer of agricultural machinery, will make its debut at the prestigious Agrama exhibition, held from November 28 to December 2, 2024, in Bern. At the booth of its Swiss partner, Land und Baumaschinen Service, visitors will have the opportunity to see two popular working machines with a working width of 3 meters: the versatile seed drill SMART 300 and the TERAN 300 N mounted Cambridge rollers.
“Switzerland, with its mountainous terrain, is known for its specific demands on agricultural machinery,” says Petr Jirsa, CEO of SMS CZ, adding, “Our machines are designed and built to deliver high durability and reliability, even in challenging conditions, which is exactly what Swiss farmers need. With working widths ranging from 3 to 16 meters, we can offer solutions for small farms as well as large agricultural enterprises. I am confident that our machines will gain popularity among Swiss farmers.”
In Hall 14, at Booth D03, Swiss farmers will have the chance over the five days of the exhibition to get a closer look at the versatile SMART 300 seed drill. This machine is designed for establishing and reseeding soil and grassland. It operates on the slit seeding principle, cutting a narrow slit into the soil, placing the seed inside, and pressing the soil back down. With a working width of 3 meters, it is suitable for small and medium-sized fields. Its robust construction makes it ideal for challenging conditions and rocky soils. Additionally, the machine can be equipped with a wide range of seeding accessories.
Another machine on display will be the TERAN 300 N Cambridge rollers. This mounted version of the Cambridge rollers has a working width of 3 meters. Its compact design makes it versatile and easy to operate. It is suitable for maintaining grasslands as well as field applications, making it an excellent choice for less powerful tractors and hilly terrains.
Agrama is Switzerland's largest exhibition for agricultural, forestry, and municipal machinery. The event hosts over 250 exhibitors and attracts more than 50,000 visitors over its five-day run, not only from Switzerland but also from Germany, France, Italy, Austria, and other countries.
We warmly invite everyone to visit the SMS CZ booth to explore these exceptional machines.
