SMS CZ is expanding its export activities with another important international market. The company has established a partnership with the Japanese company Kokusai Nohki Co., Ltd., which will represent the Czech agricultural machinery manufacturer in Japan. With this latest expansion, SMS CZ now exports its machines to more than 35 countries worldwide.
The Rokycany-based manufacturer continues to strengthen its international dealer network with its entry into the Japanese market. The partnership with Kokusai Nohki Co., Ltd. was concluded during last November's Agritechnica exhibition in Germany. In the initial phase of the cooperation, the Japanese partner is focusing primarily on machinery for grassland and pasture maintenance. The first machines have already been delivered to Japan, including SMART 300 seed drills in various configurations, with strong potential for expanding the product range in the future.
“Entering the Japanese market is a significant export milestone for our company. The negotiations took several months, and we are pleased to have found a partner who shares our long-term vision. As we continue to strengthen our position in Japan, we believe there will also be opportunities for other machines from our product portfolio, particularly in the field of soil cultivation,” says Petr Jirsa, Managing Director of SMS CZ.
Exports are one of the key pillars of SMS CZ's business. Today, machinery manufactured in western Bohemia is supplied to more than 35 countries worldwide. In addition to European markets, the company's major export destinations include New Zealand, Canada, and South Africa. Establishing a partnership in Japan represents another important step in the company's long-term strategy of expanding its international business activities.
