SMS CZ at Agrotechniek Holland 2024

Czech agricultural machinery producer SMS CZ s.r.o. will take part in the Agrotechniek Holland exhibition, which will take place from 11 to 14 September 2024. SMS CZ will present six machines at the prestigious agricultural event, reflecting the company's long tradition in the production of machinery for soil processing and meadow maintenance. Machines representing every single category as well as universal and will be on display on area 5.22.

The Dutch market is an important in export strategy of SMS CZ. "Dutch agriculture is known for its intensive production on small acreages, high labour efficiency and focus on permanent grassland and pastures. I am convinced that our equipment, which is characterised by its robustness, reliability and ease of operation, has a lot to offer farmers in this environment. That is why we are participating in the exhibition, where we want to make our machines more familiar to local farmers and convince them of their qualities," says Petr Jirsa, Managing Director of SMS CZ.

At the exhibition, there will be machines for soil and meadow cultivation or universal use with working widths from 3 to 5 m.

It will be instroduced a new TALON GREEN deep subsoiler on area 5.22, which is specially designed for deep processing of permanent grassland without damaging the top layer. With a working width of 3 metres and 4 working units, it ensures high-quality aeration of the soil to a depth of up to 35 cm. This machine is ideal for farmers who want to improve the quality of their pastures without the risk of damaging the top soil layer or pasture or pulling stones to the surface.

Another representative of the category of subsoilers is the TALON CLASSIC 400/8H subsoiler. It is a robust subsoiler with a working width of 4 metres and eight tines. This hydraulically folded machine allows efficient soil cultivation up to a depth of 45 cm. Thanks to its design and the various plough blade attachment options, it is ideal for deep loosening of any types of soil.

The TALON KOMBI 300/6 deep subsoiler will be on display as well. This machine makes it possible to combine several working operations in one pass, thanks to a three-point hitch for hanging additional tools. With a working width of 3 metres and six tines, the machine is a great choice for farmers looking for an efficient way to work the soil while maintaining its structure.

The SMART 300 universal seed drill will also be on display. This is a universal seed drill designed for establishing and reseeding grassland and field crops. With its working width of 3 metres, it is ideal for smaller and medium-sized farms. The machine is robust and can handle stony soils. Its sowing technique allows precise sowing of seed without damaging the soil structure.

Cambridge rollers will be represented at the event by the TERAN N 300 model. It is a carrier version of the cambridge rollers with a working width of 3 meters. Its compact design makes the machine versatile with easy operation. It is suitable for both lawn maintenance and field applications. It is also suitable for less powerful tractors or hilly terrain.

And let's not forget the ONTARIO 450 H disc cultivator. It is a robust, 4,5 m working width machine designed for efficient post-harvest and pre-sowing soil preparation. It is equipped with two rows of discs with a diameter of 510 mm, which ensure intensive cutting and mixing of the soil with plant residues. The hydraulically foldable frame allows easy transport and quick adaptation of the machine to the working conditions. ONTARIO 450 H stands out for its stability and precision when working even on uneven ground.

Agrotechniek Holland is one of the most important agricultural exhibitions in the Netherlands, taking place on an area of 120,000 m². Every year, more than 400 exhibitors from different countries take part. The event is visited by an average of 55,000 people who come to learn about the latest technologies in agriculture.
